SimVenture Challenge 2018


The SimVenture Evolution Challenge gives students the chance to showcase their entrepreneurial skills!

The Evolution business simulation provides a platform for students to compete against other students running a virtual company (a bicycle manufacturing business) and gaining practical entrepreneurial skills that can be transferred into real-life work, and of course, entering the competition gives students a chance to win the first ever Global Champion title.

You will also gain amazing experience to add to your CV's allowing you to get ahead and be recognized by academic and corporate clients, as well as winning cash prizes.

The SimVenture Evolution Challenge will run during Global Entrepreneurship Week (

12th November 2018 09:00 - 16th November 2018 17:00.

Entry details:

All registered entrants will be emailed their login details and all final instructions (including judging criteria) for the live competition on Monday 12th November.

Entrants will then be required to run their virtual company once within the competition dates. Once the judges have finalised all results, the winners will be notified.

Practice Scenario:

The SimVenture Evolution Challenge also provides students with an opportunity to practice their skills before the event. By signing up before Monday 12th November, you can gain access to the 'practice scenario' which you can use to build up your simulation knowledge and skills.

- Entry is free

- The competition is fully remote (on-line)

- Participants will need access to a suitable internet connection in order to use SimVenture Evolution.

- There is a maximum limit of 200 individual places on the competition.

- There is a limit of 10 entries from any single individual educational institution.

- Places are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis

-All entrants must be in full or part-time education and be 18 or over.

- Entrants from any level of study are welcome to participate
