The Speaker Series consists of inviting a range of business leaders to share their stories, give advice and answer any questions which students may have. We try to invite speakers from a wide range of industries, so there should be something for everyone. Events take place throughout the year in both the Belfield campus and the Smurfit Business School in Blackrock. These events are free for members of the society and non-members can sign up at any one of the events. Feel free to contact the society with suggestions of speakers you would like to see, or if you are someone who would like to speak please do get in touch. Make sure to like our Facebook page for regular updates!
Previous speakers include Elaine Lavery, co-founder of Improper Butter, Garret Flower, co-founder of Krust Bakery and Parkpnp, Maurice Healy, founder of the Healy Group and Colm Lyon, founder of Realex Payments and Fire.
We are excited to announce that Gary McGann, a former student of UCD and current Chairman of Paddy Power Betfair Plc and Aryzta AG (Cuisine de France), will be coming to speak to our members this Wednesday!
