KKR’s European Leveraged Credit team is based in Dublin and focuses predominantly on senior secured European bank loans. The team also invests in subordinated debt, floating rate notes, ABS and high yield bonds. KKR Credit has been actively involved in the European leveraged credit market since 2003, when KKR Credit (then Avoca Capital) launched its first European CLO. KKR Credit has since launched 25+ European CLOs and manages over €10.5 billion across European credit funds, SMAs and CLOs.
Also based in KKR’s Dublin office is the Portfolio Monitoring Unit (PMU). The PMU is a distinct team of credit analysts responsible for ongoing credit monitoring, independent financial analysis post investment and consistent financial reporting across various portfolios. The team has grown substantially since inception in 2016 and monitors credits across KKR’s global private credit platform.
